Recruitment for Chief of Plant Maintenance Section, Channels and Harbors Project
I am forwarding for your information and consideration the announcement for recruitment for the Chief of Plant Maintenance Section at Portland District. Mac Robison has been very capably doing that job for many years and is leaving some big shoes to fill, but it looks like they are starting things early enough to hopefully allow some overlap and training. The selected individual would oversee the US Government Moorings, maintenance crew and facilities for keeping the two west coast Corps hopper dredges, survey boats and other floating plant running and it is a great opportunity for anyone qualified and interested in moving to Portland.
