SUSPENSE 30 September - Request for Nominations - FY 17 National Operations Project Manager Career Assignment Program
On behalf of Mr. Eddie Belk, Chief, Operations and Regulatory Division, I am pleased to announce the FY 17 Request for Nominations for the National Operations Project Manager Career Assignment Program (OPM CAP). This successful staff development program continues to enable USACE to develop our future leaders and allow opportunity for Operations team members to gain valuable experience in leadership positions. This program is primarily targeted for individuals at the GS 12 level who aspire to be an Operations Project Manager. We're seeking up to two individuals per MSC for possible assignment beginning in January 2017. Additional details and information for applying are provided in the attached document. In addition, we're asking Operations Division Chiefs to evaluate potential positions that are or will become vacant in early 2017 which may be appropriate for consideration for the Program.

Please share this request broadly. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Eugene Goff, Chair of the OPM Community of Practice Advisory Board at 620-364- 8613 or email at Eugene.Goff@usace.army.mil.

MSC nominations for this critical leader development program should be provided to Mr. Goff by 30 September 2016. Thank you for your continued support of our Operations Project Manager Career Assignment Program.

    Respectfully,
    Meg

    Meg Gaffney-Smith
