National Legends & Beacon Award Winners Announcement
The attached memo announces Ms. Tamara Schroeder, Park Manager, Willamette Valley Project, Portland District as the recipient of the 2016 American Recreation Coalition's Legends Award and Mr. Jason Knight, Recreation Planner, Tulsa District and Mr. David Gray, Visual Information Specialist, Baltimore District as co- recipients of the 2016 Beacon Award.

These awards are presented annually to recognize outstanding federal employees for their significant contributions to the enhancement of outdoor recreation resources, facilities and experiences on the nation's public lands and to recognize an initiative that represents the innovative use of technology to enhance visitor services. Mr. Knight and Mr. Gray will be recognized at the Beacon award ceremony on 1 June 2016 and Ms. Schroeder will be recognized at the Legends award ceremony on 2 June 2016 in Washington, DC.
