    Chapter 13 EP 1130-2-550 Aquatic Plant Control Program
    The attached policy guidance memo provides direction on implementing project partnership agreements for the Watercraft Inspection and Decontamination Program.

    Key Points:

    • Purpose: Updates internal guidance to meet statutory requirements and directly addresses GAO-24-105960 (Recommendation 2) by optimizing station placement to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.
    • Applicability: Applies to all USACE Headquarters, Divisions, Districts, and Field Offices with civil works responsibilities.
    • Integration: This guidance will be incorporated into the upcoming revision of EP 1130-2- 500, Chapter 13 (Aquatic Plant Control Program).
