    2025 National Water Safety Awards Nomination Request - S: 10 June 2026
I would like to take this opportunity to announce that the National Boating Federation (NBF) will be recognizing a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) employee and team for the extraordinary work that they have done to promote water safety and save lives on our nation's waterways. This is an excellent opportunity to recognize those that have done a great job promoting water safety by creating and implementing initiatives, utilizing available resources, sharing information effectively, developing partnerships, maintaining, and improving recreation facilities, and more.

The NBF wishes to honor an outstanding USACE employee and team with a National Water Safety Award. These awards will be presented annually to recognize an outstanding individual and team for their significant contributions to boating and water safety.

As stated in the attached criteria, nominations must be submitted to Heath Kruger, Interim National Water Safety Program Manager, NLT 10 June 2026. Nominations will be evaluated on the basis of content that should concisely describe innovative performance and specific accomplishments.

    Thank you
    Heath

    Heath Kruger
