RecAssessment NOW OPEN – Closes 26 Nov 2025
As we approach the annual budget development period, it's time to collect the essential performance and programmatic data that helps drive decisions. The RecAssessment module plays a crucial role in this process by gathering the data needed for prioritizing the requests in the RecCWIFD budget packages. The information you and your teams enter will be used to inform the budget build alongside other key datasets, such as CEFMs revenue and expenditure, R1S revenue, OCA (Due December 1), and Visitation data.

Please ensure that the data is entered accurately and in a timely manner to best support the upcoming budget requests. It is especially important to itemize expenditure data by activity in RecAssessment as these data points are being used to align the S3 processes.

    Key Update for This Year:

There will be no webcast demonstration for new users or refresher sessions for experienced users, as no changes have been made to the system since last year. Instead, we encourage you to reach out to your Rec-CATT for any assistance you may need. Additionally, the Rec-CWIFD and Rec-Assessment Gateway page has resources, including the FY25 Rec Expenditures and the FY25 CEFMS and R1S Revenues, which may be helpful as you complete the assessment.

Please prioritize this task over the next two weeks.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact your regional program managers or Rec CATT team members. Their contact information is listed below for reference.

Thank you for your continued efforts to the USACE Recreation Program during these extraordinary times. We certainly understand the challenges in mission delivery out there currently, but these efforts are integral to the success of the budget process and to the ongoing improvement of the program.

    Ryan Hartwig
    National Recreation Program Manager
