    New SAD Hydropower Program Manager - - - John Ferguson
    I am pleased to announce the selection of Mr. JOHN FERGUSON as the new SAD HYDROPOWER PROGRAM MANAGER. John will be filling the position vacated by Brian Sapp following his reassignment as the Senior O&M Program Manager.

    John has 13 years of direct Hydropower experience including six years as a field engineer and seven years managing an important Rehabilitation Program. He currently serves as Chief, Major Rehab Unit, Hydropower Section in the Mobile District Operations Division. Through his leadership of regional technical teams, his efforts managing the regional hydropower engineer recruitment and development program, and his experience working with the Southeastern Power Administration, John has developed the credibility and relationships needed to lead this very important program. John will be joining the SAD team on 27 September 2009. Until that time, John can be reached through the global address book as "John D Ferguson" located in SAM.
