    National Levee Database (NLD) Public Release Webinar for USACE personnel  Corps Castle
    National Levee Database (NLD) Public Release Webinar for USACE personnel on Tuesday, August 30 at 2:00 eastern with a repeat of the Webinar on Thursday, Sept 1 at 10:00 eastern time. Call in information is below.

    The National Levee Database team will provide updates on the current NLD outreach efforts including release of the Public View of the NLD and ongoing efforts to add FEMA Mid-term Levee Inventory data and other Federal and non-Federal levee data beyond levees in a USACE program. We will also discuss the path forward to release the NLD for use by states, Tribes, sponsors and other private entities.

    The team will also discuss the upcoming transition to NLD 3.0, how that change benefits the NLD and the Levee Safety Program, and the steps to implement the upcoming change in early September 2011.
