    HQ Hydropower Senior Program Manager
am very pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Kyle L. Jones as the Senior Hydropower Program Manager in the Hydropower Business Line program, Operations Division, here at Headquarters. Kyle brings more than 37 years of critical expertise in hydropower, Civil Works Project and Program Management, and budget development and execution. He started his Corps career as an Electrical Engineer in the Mobile District at the Buford, Carters, and Allatoona projects and at the Savannah District's J. For the past five years, Kyle has served as a Program Manager in the Project and Program Management Community of Practice where he oversaw the initial development of the PPM CoP and the Civil Works Directorate transition to P2. He was also the lead instructor for the Civil Works Program Development and Execution PROSPECT course.

Kyle will be reporting to the Hydropower Business Line on 16 August 2009. Please join me in welcoming Kyle to the Hydropower Community of Practice. Thanks.

    Kamau Sadiki
